Manager of Community Engagement - Pennsylvania Region
This full time position leads the Community Engagement Leaders and Coordinators in the Pennsylvania Region to drive awareness and connection to Thrivent within the assigned region or regions. The Manager of Community Engagement (MCE) partners with the Managing Partner to develop a strategic plan to strengthen Christian communities by helping members and prospective members be wise with money and inspiring them to live generously and volunteer in Thrivent activities. This role drives membership growth through the Community Engagement Leaders, who are engaged in building, connecting, and leveraging relationships through Thrivent communities, congregations, and non-profit organizations. They help to activate members to become advocates and others to become more aware of Thrivent and its faith-based mission.
The Manager of Community Engagement should live within the geography of the Regional Financial Office(s) they manage, or be within 30 miles of the region.
Job Qualifications
Location: Eastern PA with preference given to the Greater Philadelphia area
Travel: Up to 50% within the region assigned
Compensation: $70,000 to $90,000 with a bonus opportunity and competitive benefits package
