EVENT/NTR SALES SPECIALIST                                            

FULL TIME (min. of 35 hours per week)

POSITION OVERVIEW 

The Event Sales Specialist will act in concert with the Promotions Supervisor on the development and execution of all station events, promotions, internal and external press releases…including staff training and engagement.

The position will report directly to the Director of Ad Sales, with a dotted line report to the Promotions Supervisor for purposes of package coordination, event sales tracking, expense control, promotional support (as it relates to programming approval on levels of spots, etc…) and resource allocation: such as the remote vehicle, the station banners, tents, and other on-site material and equipment needed to fully engage an event.

 

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES 

Additionally, the Event Sales Specialist will assist in the development of the sales & marketing pieces needed for the presentation/sale of the event and NTR platforms. They will also coordinate and produce all post event marketing pieces and work with the Promotion Supervisor in implementing social and new media initiatives of the Stations.

The Event Sales Specialist will also concentrate on the active selling of these event and NTR platforms. The position will be expected to attain and will be given specific revenue goals for the Stations.
