Job Description:

Central College Presbyterian Church (CCPC) is seeking a Director of Youth Ministry (DYM) to oversee the ministry to youth ( 6th-12th grades) and their families. The position involves providing overall leadership and working collaboratively with staff, parents and adult volunteers to inspire, nurture, and equip youth and families to be rooted in Christ, foster loving relationships, and make His Kingdom visible. The DYM will oversee all Youth Ministries, including Sunday School, weekly youth meetings, retreats, mission, service and outreach events. The candidate must demonstrate a personal commitment to Christ and the authority of Scripture and a strong desire to share their faith to support the spiritual growth of youth and their families. Skills needed include recruiting, equipping and empowering volunteers for ministry to youth, as well as excellence in communication, relationships and administration. Experience in youth ministry and/or education in youth ministry or theological training is desired. The DYM position is full-time and will be overseen by the Executive Director of Family and Children’s Ministries.
