Responsibility
The responsibilities and duties of this VP of Operations include, but are not limited to, the following items:
Report directly to the President
Manage Project Managers and Superintendents (including interviewing,
hiring and firing, employee training and evaluations)
Continue education of staff through group and one-on-one training sessions
Develop formal processes and standard operating procedures
Schedule and assign teams to new projects
Oversee budgets and schedules
Quality control and Safety
Participate in strategic planning and sales presentations
Participate in company Vision and Direction Casting
Offer sales support and technical credibility
Troubleshoot (design, sub contractors, clients)
Develop intentional and consistent client relationships
Be the “face of the company” to the clients

Required
Minimum of 10 years Construction Experience
Minimum of 5 years Field Experience
Design-Build experience
Experience in managing direct reports (including interviewing, hiring and firing)
Minimum of 10 years experience in a leadership role
4 year Degree or equivalent work experience
Microsoft product proficiency
Preferred
Portfolio of project lists with related, commercial projects of $500,000 to $15M (including roles, responsibility and success of projects)
15+ years of Construction Experience
10+ years of Field Experience
Small business experience
