Summary:

Seeking individuals with previous outside sales skills to sell advertising time, digital assets, e-commerce and events to local businesses. If you’re a sales professional with a proven track record of at least 2 years outside sales experience living in or moving to Columbus, Ohio and desire to become part of a sales organization that is making a real difference in the local community, then we want you to become part of our media group and marketing team!

Primary Responsibilities:

• Prospect and set up meetings with potential business owners/clients
• Exceed monthly sales expectations and goals
• Develop holistic advertising campaigns to solve advertiser goals and challenges
• Build strong relationships and customer loyalty
• Work closely with Production, Traffic, Promotions and Web teams to ensure seamless campaign execution

Requirements:

• Background in outside sales and/or marketing
• Ability to demonstrate previous success selling an intangible product
• Excellent prospecting skills
• Enjoy relationship building and be a superb problem solver
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, along with computer proficiency
• Must have excellent communication and presentation skills, well organized, a team player, a positive attitude and a passion for our media assets.
• Highly self-driven and motivated to exceed goals

Compensation: Guaranteed draw plus commission is available for exceptional performance along with a full benefits package and a positive work environment.
