Job Description: Front Office
- Call Taking
- Filling out work orders for the service techs and properly identifying the issue the customer is having with their appliance
- Directing calls to appropriate department when necessary
- Clerical Work
- Filing and closing out service calls once calls are complete
- Closing Responsibility (When needed)
- Balance cash register drawer
- Lock up and set alarm
- Dispatching
- Looking over daily routes to make best route
- Checking dispatch report to see all calls are in the route folder versus what is in the computer
- Parts worksheet
- Check worksheet versus the completed calls to make sure parts ordered are the parts that were used
- Non-used parts are returned
- Used stocked parts are replaced on the trucks
- Pre-ID
- Help identify potential solutions before sending the technician to cut down on travel time and service time for the customer
- Updating technicians
- Sending text or calling technicians if there are any questions or changes for them
- Updating warranty companies
- Update call status on warranty company portals
- Update call volume we can handle during certain times of the year
