Overflow Community Church, a local Wesleyan church in Benton Harbor, Michigan, is seeking a Worship Arts Pastor/Director to join our ministry team.
The Brief Job Description is: “To equip and empower leaders to passionately follow Jesus Christ, and who will strategically think about diversity and creativity, that will create a celebratory worship service that will lead to greater faith, greater praise,
and people open to the word of God.”
Qualified candidates will possess:
- A dynamic, growing relationship with Jesus Christ
- Bachelor degree or equivalent with further education/training in music or equivalent level of experience.
- A personal passion for worship as a lifestyle (worship celebration services that experientially convey the truth of God’s Word into people’s lives, encourage participation and has a desire to see the arts and prayer be active in the life of the church).
- A deep commitment to living missionally in a multicultural church setting.
- Demonstrated experience and a desire to grow and implement the creative arts as part of Sunday celebration services and able to build bridges through the Worship Arts.
- A heart for, and demonstrated ability, to help move Overflow further into the fulfillment of our worship celebration statement, “Overflow’s praise and worship styles vary often and reflect both the diversity and creativity of our God and our community.

- This role will also have staff oversight of Overflow’s hospitality/assimilation area working with our volunteer director and team. A passion for people “connecting” to Jesus and Overflow as well as the demonstrated ability to serve as a leader of leaders
is necessary.
