We are looking for a Christian Church, School, Camp, and Ministry Bookkeeper and Accountant to join our team! You will be responsible for preparing and analyzing financial records for our Non-Profit Church Ministry.
New Creations (a Church with mission projects) is a Christian boarding school for teens in transition. We bring broken lives into relationship with Christ, and bring restoration to their families. Our other Church ministries include: Camp, Equine, Experience, Light, and School & College.
Responsibilities:
*Prepare and examine accounting records, financial statements, taxes, and other financial reports
*Develop and analyze reporting for Church & Various Ministry operations and budgets
*Prepare for audits, ensuring adherence to standard requirements
*Create new processes to improve financial efficiency
*Report analysis and findings to management team
Qualifications:
*Previous experience in accounting or degree in accounting or other Church related field
*Fundamental knowledge of GAAP
*Experience with current or ACS Technology computer accounting programs and reporting tools
*Understanding of Non-Profit Church 501-C-3
*Detail and deadline-oriented
*Strong analytical and problem solving skills
*Willing to be licensed into the Ministry (see www.fcfi.org)
