Salem Media Group in KY is looking for a Full-Time Business/Traffic Manager.

Traffic Manager: Schedule commercial advertising campaigns, and provide exceptional customer service.

 Traffic Manager Responsibilities:

• Handles all aspects of assigned stations including placing spots, assigning cart numbers on production orders, making sure all commercial copy is turned in, adding daily networks to log.
• Produces daily commercial logs by importing orders, and commercial advertising schedules
• Enters commercial advertising schedules.
• Work with Sales Manager regarding inventory issues.
• Coordinates with Sales & Programming to maintain commercial inventory and to provide billing information
• Runs inventory reports
• Work seamlessly with Sales, Continuity, Programming, and Traffic & Accounting.
• Print & distributes sales contracts, attaches printed contracts with signed orders and places in files.
• Post logs on a daily basis; prints log reports and files on a monthly basis
• Completes all network production (barter spots, affidavits).
• May perform Digital Traffic duties
• May require flexibility in work schedules

Qualifications:

•  Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, social networking platforms
• Ability to learn new systems quickly
• Proven ability to read and interpret documents such as operating and maintenance instruction procedure manuals, and insertion/purchases orders
• Strong attention to detail, and high work standards
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Demonstrated data entry skills
• Ability to work independently and with a team

Work Experience:

Bachelor’s Degree in related field or 4 year comparable work experience.

Business Manager: Responsible for managing the market’s financial operations and overseeing the finance and traffic department

Business Manager Responsibilities:

• Overseeing all accounting processes
• Preparation & reporting of monthly financial statements
• Developing monthly forecasts and annual budgets
• Administering SOX compliance
• Responsible for the complete oversight of all market business operations
• Oversee the activities of accounts receivable, general ledger and budgeting for the market
• Perform month-end and year-end accounting closings
• Report monthly financial performance and variance analysis
• Responsible for market SOX compliance and audit procedures
• Enforce corporate policies and procedures
• Monitor trade/barter activity for the market
• Additional duties and responsibilities may be assigned as necessary
• Manage inventory & fulfillment responsibilities for Salem Media Group Louisville
