About the Organization:
Before the initial gathering of seven individuals, came the vision for Rhema Christian Center, which was to be a place where the Word of God would empower people to serve, a clear vision was given to an individual named La Fayette Scales. God charged one man, to raise up a work in Columbus, Ohio that would reach people and touch lives all around the world—a unique fellowship of believers and a community of faith. Hence, Rhema Christian Center was birthed out of the mind of God, into the heart of Apostle La Fayette Scales.
La Fayette Scales gathered around him a core of charter members and Rhema Christian Center’s inaugural service was conducted on May 2, 1982. Of the 30 people who attended, ten responded to the call for discipleship and membership. A year later, La Fayette was formally installed as its pastor. Under his leadership, the church membership rapidly increased, where three worship services became a necessity, in addition to the Sunday and Wednesday evening services.
Today, Rhema Christian Center contains a steadfast congregation housed on a debt free campus, a wide-range of facilities, seven multi-sites in the Columbus region, and 30+ ministries worldwide with plans for future expansion.

About the Position:
Working under the leadership of the Director of Finance, the Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for the maintenance of the financial systems, processes, and administrative culture of Rhema Christian Center, in a way that will seamlessly facilitate
the growth as driven by the vision of Senior Pastor, Dr. La Fayette Scales. This position will execute a variety of priority tasks associated with the financial affairs of Rhema Christian Center, which includes recording contributions, accounts payable, payroll
and associated taxes, and preparation of a variety of financial reports.

Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree or an associate’s degree with 5 years or more years of broad financial experience or equivalent professional work experience.
Past work experience in church or nonprofit organization is preferred. The general qualifications for the position include strong administrative and organizational skills, a solid background in accounts payable and payroll experience, a working knowledge of Peachtree, ACS Technologies or similar church data management program as well as basic MS Office program among core office skills.
